Like many, I grew up reading Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. Sunday mornings my brother and I would fight over who would get to read the comics first. He was (and still is) bigger and taller than me so by the time I got to read it, the paper had some light syrup and bacon grease on it. It didn’t matter. Watterson’s wit, intelligence and feeling could shine through anything.
I had to share this not only because I love (and miss) Calvin and Hobbes but because it is a gentle reminder we all need: Be Yourself. Be Authentic. Make Your Own Way.
